- Should my expanded listing description get uploaded to Realtor.com?
- Should my listing be an enhanced listing with over 100 professional photos, not the standard 40?
- Should my listing have a Virtual Tour Link to the custom web site of my home?
Realtor.com is viewed by many to be the best non-brokerage web site in the world for people shopping for homes…. Yes, better than Zillow
Realtor.com pulls 100% of listings from the MLS. They also have the best and easiest mapping functions to search in an area. They also have the most robust filtering system to narrow the search to what you want. There are a few other features though that make it stand out over the rest.
What does that mean for you? As was explained earlier, agents with no place to put extra photos and expanded descriptions, are not even going to be in possession of these extra added value items and therefore will just let the MLS take care of the upload (40 photos, 120 words)
Your home is going to stand out on Realtor.com with all of the extra photos and description. You will also have that quick one click link to your virtual tour where buyers can access all of the photos, the video and the 360 tour. The link is right there, front and center.
Directly from the main photo, your listing gets a Link to the Custom Web Site of your Home
I’ve seen enough, take me to the plan summary “My Plan vs Their plan”

- Unlike Zillow, Realtor.com puts the virtual tour hot link right in the first photo of the listing. On Zillow and others, the virtual tour link has to be found by scrolling down through the home features
- Realtor.com is the only non brokerage site to allow the upload of more than the 40 MLS photos. It is over 100 on Realtor
- Realtor.com allows the upload of a property expanded description, not limited to the 750 characters on the MLS
- Realtor.com allows the upload of the true Virtual Tour URL, not just the unbranded version from the MLS
